Companies we support making organic food

If there is a lesson to reap from all this turmoil, it is to support (spend money with) the people and companies that are doing the righteous and just action for the people in our community and the environment in which we live.

The time has come to rest and reset.  Reset for a more sustainable future when we consider the impact that our decisions has on others.  Time to take our power and our money from the corporations which are literally killing our bodies with toxic food ingredients and destroying our environment with pollution.

I'm over it with hearing about another food bourne illness spreading through the produce from a giant conglomerate agricultural operation.

We are prepping beds for our spring garden so that we are no longer at the whims of careless corporations.

The last few years have seen a rise of organic farming practices, consumers actually reading product labels, while understanding the how toxic the ingredients of that product are.

Reading labels and questioning whats on them is one of the most important revolutionary acts to do.

Below, we've compiled an ever-growing list of companies we support who aren't ravaging the planet's resources.

one degree organics - breakfast cereals and sprouted flour
Dr Bronners - a family company making coconut oil and Castile soap
Straus Organic Creamery - organic whole milk and cream
Nancy's Yogurt - organic, cultured dairy
Vital Farms - pasture-raised chicken eggs and grass-fed butter
If You Care - unbleached baking supplies
Hu Kitchen - coconut sugar chocolate
Good Farms - organic produce
Earth Circle Organics - organic superfoods in bulk
Sol Simple - dehydrated organic fruit
Mountain Rose Herbs - organic bulk foods and teas
Inked Organics - organic bread
Nutiva - organic superfoods
GT's Living Foods - organic, cultured beverages
Big Tree Farms - organic sweeteners, including coconut sugar
evolutionFresh - organic, cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juice

With the lack of trust we have in the companies meant to support us, it's nice to compile a list.
